A data labeling team from Bhola, Bangladesh
VettedHive was founded in August 2025 by Sumaia Akter Mim, after years of labeling and leading annotation teams for AI companies. Most of our team are women, trained in-house and working from their home district.

Women empowerment
Skilled tech careers for women in Bhola
Most of our team are women. Many had never worked in tech before joining, and now label data for AI teams around the world without leaving their home district.
- Paid training before anyone starts on client work
- Monthly pay and flexible shifts, close to home
- A clear path from annotator to reviewer to team lead
Why a hive
A hive works because every cell is built carefully and checked by the next worker. That’s how we label data: small teams, clear roles, and every piece of work inspected before it’s sealed.
We stay deliberately close to our clients. You talk directly to the team lead running your project, see the question log, and get batch reports you can actually read.
2022
Our founder starts as a data annotator, labeling images for international AI projects.
2025
After leading an annotation team, she founds VettedHive Solutions in Bhola with a small core team.
Today
A trained team of annotators and reviewers working with local and global clients.
Next
Growing the team in Bhola and opening training for more women in the district.

Founder’s note
Why I started VettedHive
I started as an annotator, labeling images for international AI projects. I saw how much a model depends on the care of the person drawing each box, and how often that care was rushed.
VettedHive is built the other way round. Every item is checked by a second person, every unclear case becomes a question, and our clients talk directly to the people doing the work.
It is also about home. Most of our team are women from Bhola. Here they can build a real career in technology without leaving their families or their district. Every project you send us helps make that possible.

How we work
- Ask, don’t guess
- An unclear case gets a question, not an assumption. Every answer goes into the guideline.
- Two sets of eyes
- Nothing ships after one look. It’s slower, and it’s why clients don’t have to re-check our work.
- Work that stays local
- Good, skilled jobs in Bhola, so talented people don’t have to move to Dhaka to find them.
